Policies.

What is the reservation policy?

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU RESERVE CLASS ONLINE TO ENSURE A SPOT IN CLASS. You may make an online class reservation up to 7 days prior to class time.  Online reservations will be cut off 30 minutes prior to class time.   In order to reserve online, a positive account is required (but you of course can purchase classes online).

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel online or by phone up to 2 hours before the start of class. If you do not cancel by that time, you will be charged.

What is the late cancel/no show/waitlist policy?

You must cancel your reservation for any class you are scheduled to attend at least two hours before the start of class to avoid a late fee. Canceling a class reservation within two hours prior to class will result in a $5 charge. Failure to show for a class you are scheduled to attend without canceling the reservation will result in a $10 charge. Please note that Bar Method often has long waiting lists and recognize that failure to show up for class or cancel on time negatively impacts Bar Method’s business and other clients. If you are added to the class from the waitlist less than two hours before the scheduled start of class, and then fail to show up for the class without canceling, you will not be charged. The Bar Method will not refund these fees.

Tell me about the kids’ room!

Let the kids have fun while you enjoy an hour for yourself.  Spots are available on a first come first served basis.  Reservations via Mindbody are highly recommended as the space can only accommodate a few kiddos.

Childcare is four dollars per child and available on a limited basis.  See schedule for details.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class to check in your child. Childcare facilities are equipped with toys, books, drawing tools, and videos.  Please bring your own diapers and bottles if applicable.

CANCELLATIONS and NO SHOWS: You must cancel your childcare reservation at least four hours prior to class to avoid being charged per child.

What do I wear?

Wear form fitting clothing so that we can see your body to make hands on adjustments.  Please wear pants that cover the knee, tops that cover the midriff, and socks that cover the entire foot. Bar Method socks and shirts are available for purchase at the front desk.

What do I bring?

Nothing, except yourself, appropriately dressed. You may bring in water bottles (reusable is best) with water only. No coffee or other liquids allowed. We want to keep the studio clean for you! Also, bring your sense of humor!

I’m running late. Can I still come to class?

Arriving late disrupts other students. However, we understand life happens. If this is your first class, please arrive 10 minutes early for orientation. You will not be permitted in to your first class if you show up more than five minutes late. Returning students may not enter later than 10 minutes after class has started.

Any other policies that I should know about before coming into the studio?

No gum or cell phones are allowed in the rooms during class.
